Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

HWP.works (the "Service") is operated by OSB (the "Company") and provides web-based services for HWP/HWPX document processing, including text extraction, metadata retrieval, and document creation. The Service is delivered through the ChatGPT platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

3. Use of Service

3.1 Account

No separate account creation is required to use the Service. For paid subscriptions, users are identified by the email address provided at checkout.

3.2 Usage Limits

  • Free Plan: 5 text extractions per day
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited access to all features

3.3 Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Collecting or misusing personal information of others
  • Using the Service for illegal purposes
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code from the Service
  • Placing excessive load on the Service through automated means

4. Payment and Subscription

4.1 Payment

Payments for paid services are processed through Paddle. For payment inquiries, please contact Paddle support or us directly.

4.2 Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

4.3 Price Changes

Service prices may change with prior notice. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service and related technology belong to HWP.works. Users retain all rights to documents they upload.

6. Disclaimer

6.1 Service Provision

The Service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. We are not responsible for service interruptions, errors, or data loss.

6.2 Document Processing

We do not guarantee the accuracy of document processing results. Please review results carefully for important documents.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HWP.works shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

8. Service Modifications and Termination

HWP.works may modify, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to paid subscribers.

9. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through in-service notices or email.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
